Market Product Groups meet two to four times a year and comprise active and associate members from the same product family or the same market. The Market Product Groups direct the association's group activities and make it possible for the viewpoints of its members on technical and economic issues to be shared and expressed.
Limited-duration Project Groups are set up to bring members' representatives together in regards of an issue or topic defined by Axema's Board of Directors. These are often at the initiative of Axema's Market Product Groups and Commissions.
Axema organises Commissions, which bring together active or associate members with acknowledged expertise in a field dedicated to techniques, economy, international business, training or communications.
Axema's mission is to represent, promote and be the advocate for the Agricultural Equipment industry with its private partners and public institutions in France and Europe. Axema is a member of CEMA, the European Agricultural Machinery Committee. The global agricultural economy and the challenges to come must be understood from a global perspective and addressed globally.
Setting up standards is an essential activity for the agricultural equipment sector. In effect, manufacturers are faced with multiple issues that they may not be able to overcome without the support of the technical guidelines that the standards provide. This is why Axema's experts work alongside business to help them formulate and then defend the industry's position.
Axema provides its members with the tools necessary for them to be competitive. These strategic resources consist of a monitoring activity in the technological and regulatory areas. The events are always great occasions. For the members they are times to relax, to see the bigger picture, to discuss and share, often in pleasant surroundings. Biennale Axema, the yearly press conference, SIMA, SITEVI, the National Agricultural Equipment Convention, etc. – all help to show how dynamic the Agricultural Equipment sector and the actions it carries out are.
